Section 1. That the sum of $2,008.62 be and the same is hereby

appropriated from the Firemans Relief Fund of the City of Salina,
to the City of Salina, Kansas, for the purchase of Bonds Number 18
and 41 of the issue of Refunding Bonds dated January 1, 1934, with
j the accrued interest thereon to this date, said bonds being now owned
by the City of Salina, Kansas and subject to sale, and to be held after
such purchase in the Investment Account of such fund.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance shall be and he is here-
by authorized to issue a `-Tarrant countersi,;ned by the City Mana er
iipon the City `'reasurer, payable to the City of Salina, for the amoiint
and for the purpose provided for in Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordi.nx+nce shall take effect a.rd be in force
from and after its 1�as,age.

ORDINANCE NU 4442
AN ORDINnNCE appropriating certain money from the Fireman's
Relief Fund for the purchase of bonds to be held in the
Investment Account of such fund.
BE IT ORDAINED bz= the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas
Section 1. _ That the sum of ;2,008.62 be and the same
is hereby appropriated from the Firemens Relief Fund of the City of
Salina, to the City of Salina, Kansas, for the purchase of Bonds
Number 18 and 41 of the issue of Refunding Bonds dated January
1, 1934, with the accrued interest thereon to this date, said
bonds being now owned by the City of Salina, Kansas and subject
to sale, and to be held after such purchase in the Investment
Account of such fund.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance shall be and
he is hereby authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the
City i::anager upon the City Treasurer, payable to the City of
Salina, for the amount and for the purpose provided for in Section 1
of this ordinance.
Section3._ This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
