BE IT ORDAINED by the L'oard of Commissioners of the City of. Salina,
Kansas
Section 1. That the sum of x$20,326.10 be and the same is hereby
appropriated from the funds of the ':'rater Department of the City of
Salina in the City Treasury for the purchase from H. J. Taylor
i
Construction Company of a Temporary Note of the vity of Salina
issued to sal -d H. J. Taylor Construction_ Company in the sum of
20,326.10 as alitzorized by Ordinance Number 4430 passed and
id note to be held as part of the Sinking
apr�roved July 2, 1034, sa
Fund of the 'Nater Department and exchanged for cash at the time
bonds are issued in payment of the cost of paving improvements
under contract dated May 3, 1934.
Section 2. That the -I'irector of '{finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant to H. J. Taylor Construction Company
countersigned by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer in payment
of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in ")ection
One (1) of this ordinance.
Sect', n 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of �20,326.I0 "--,e and the
same is hereby appropria ted from the funds of the dater Department
of the CitY of Salina in the City Treasury for the purchases from
H. J. T aylor Construction Company of a Temporary Note of the City
Of Salina issued to said H. J. Taylor Construction Company in
the sum of 20,326.10 as authorized by Ordinance Number, 4430
passed and approved July 2, 1934, said note to be held as part of
the Sinking Fund of the Water Depart;ient and exchanged for cash
at the time bonds are issued in payment of the cost of pavi7w, improve-
ments unU.er contract dated May 3, 1934 .
Section 2, That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to issue a warrant to H. J. Taylor Construction
Company, counters igned by the City "vlanager upon the City Treasurer
in payment of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section. 3. W This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
