AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of the north side of Republic Avenue
between the west lire of Ninth Street and the east line of the
Missouri Pacific Railroad right-of-way.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
erection 1. That the following described portion of the north
side of Republic Avenue in the City of Salina between the west line
of Ninth Street and the east line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad
right-of-way be and t#.e same is hereby vacated and that that portion
of said street so vacated shall accrue to and become a portion of

the lots lying immediately north of that portion of said street so
vacated, the portion of said street hereby vacated more particularly
{ described as follows to -wit:
I Beginning at a point 30 ft. west and 30 ft, north of the south-
east corner of northeast quarter of Section 23, Township 14 S,
Range 3 W. thence west along the existing north property line of
Republic Street to its intersection with the east right-of-way line

of the Missouri Pacific Railroad, thence south 17 feet along the
said right-of-way line, thence east in a straight line to the point
of beginning, the above described tract adjo'ning the following des-

Lots 23 and 24, Block 13, Bachtolds Plat,
Lots 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 27, Block 4, Fairview Addition,

Lots 12 and 13J. Block 21, Southern Heights Addition,
dots 12 and 13, Block 22, Southern Heights Addition,
Lots 12 and 13, Block 23, Southern Heights Addition,

except that portion thereof now lying witixin and being a part of the

intersections formed by said Republic Avenue and Tenth Street, Eleventh

Street, Sherman Street, Custer Street, Sheridan Street, Merrill Street,
and Hancock Street, subject to the right of the City of Salina to re-
open that portion of Republic Avenue so vacated in the manner provided
by law.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper*

AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of the north side of Republic
Avenue between the west line of Ninth Street and the
east line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad right-of-way.
BE IT CRDAINE% by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina
Kansas: ,
Section 1. That the following described portion of the
north side of Republic Avenue in the City of Salina between the
west line of Ninth Street and the east line of the Nlissov.ri
Pacific Railroad right-of-way be and the same is hereby vacated
and that that portion of said street so vacated. shall accrue
to and become a portion of the lots lying immediately north of
that portion of said street so vacated, the rortion of said
street hereb- vacated more particularly described as follows
to -wit:
Beginning at a point 30 ft, west and 30 feet north
of the soitreast corner of northeast quarter of Section 23,
Township 14 S, Range 3 W thence west along the existing north
property lig ~e of Republic Street to its intersection wi_t# the
