AT,1 ORllIT1ANCE creating certain funds to be mown as "Public Works
Administration Docket No, 2739 Contract Account Fund" and "Public
Works Administration Docket No, 2739 Force Account.Fund"; author- j
izing the appropriation and transfer of certain money from the
Waterworks Department Fund to said funds so created; designating
certain banks as depositaries for the monies placed in and to be
acquired by such funds and providing for the manner in which the
monies deposited in such sr;ecial accounts shall be accounted for
and used.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there are hereby created and there shall be

set up on the books of the City Clerk and City Treasurer two special

Contract Account Fund" and "Public Works Administration Docket No.
2739 Force Account Fund"; in which funds shall be deposited all monies

improvements heretofore authorized to be constructed, as described i
the application made by the City of. Salina to the Federal Emergency
Administration. of Public ."corks relating to the reconstruction of the
a.amping station of the Waterworks System of the City of Salina and
known as Public Works Administration_ Docket No. 2739,

Lection 2. That there be and is hereby appropriated and trans -
(erred from the Waterworks Department fund of the City of Salina to
the "Public Works Administration Docket No. 2739 Contract Account
Fund", created by Section One of this ordinance the sum of ��15,155,00.
Section 3. That there be and ther-�is hereby appropriated and trans-
-"erred from the 1!!aterworks Department fund of the City of 'Salina to
the "Public Works Administration Docket No. 2739 Force Account Fund",
created by Section One of this ordinance the sum of X59117.50.
Section 4. The City 'Treasurer is hereby= authorized and directed
to posit in the National Bank of America, Salina, Kansas, a member of
the Federal Reserve Bank System, said sum of .15,155.00 in a special
account in said bank to be known as "Public Works Administration Docket
No. 2739 - Contract Account", which account shall be kept separate and
apart from all other funds and accounts of the City of Salina and in
,,!hlch acco,.znt he shall deposit from time to time, as the same may be
received by the City of Salina, any monies granted to the City of
Salina by the United States of America and which are authorized to be
used in payment of the contract for the construction of that part of
the public improvements described in this ordinance which is to be per-
formed under contract.
Section 5. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed
to d eposit in the Farmers National Bank of Salina, Kansas, a member of
the Federal Reserve Bank System, said sum of y"5,117.50 in a special
account in said bank to be known as "Public Works Administration Docket
No. 2739 - Force Acco-:nt", which account shall be kept separate
and apart from all other funds and accounts of the City of Salina,
and in which account he shall deposit from time to time, as the
same may be received by the City of Salina, any monies granted to
the City of Salina by the United States of America and which are
authorized to be ,,sed in payment of. the Force Account for the
construction of that part of the public improvements described
in this ordinance which is to be performed under force account.

from such accounts only in paying the cost of constructing the
project above referred to and all such payments so made shall

Section 7, The City Clerk and City Treasurer shall keep
proper books of records and accounts, separate from all_ other
records and accounts, in which complete and correct entries shall
be made of all transactions relating to the project above referred
to.
Section S. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
after its publication in the Salina Journal, the official city
paper,

Fund"; authorizing the appropriation and transfer of certain

Salina upon the City Treasurer and countersigned by the City
Manager.
