AN ORDINANCE approving a certain Grant Agreement between the City
of Salina, Kansas and the United States of America known as
Public Works Administration Docket No. 2739 relating to the
construction of certain improvements to the Vjaterw orks System
of the City of Salina and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk
to execute and attest the execution of said agreement.
BE IT ORDAITIED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the proposed Grant Agreement between the City
of Salina, Kansas, as party of the first part and the United States
of America as party of the second part, submitted to the City of
Salina by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works
pursuant to the application for a 7rant heretofore made by the
City of Salina to the Federal Emergency Administration of Public
Works and referred to as Public Works Administration Docket No. 2739
and relatin-T to and pro-KTidinr for the following described improve-
ments to the Waterworks System of the C:i t of Salina, to -wit:
Reconstruction of Pumping Station,
involving refacement of exterior walls,
new concrete slab roof, electric re-
wiring and new concrete floor*
The rec ons trizc tion of the high and
low service power switching equ'pment

trol panel substantially in accordance
with First Party's application (Docket No.2739)
is hereby approved 15y the ;governing body of the City of Salina, Kansas,
Saction 2. That the Mayor of the City of Sall.na be and he i.s
hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Salina the
Grant Agreement referred to and described in Section One of this
ordinance and that the City Clerk be and he is herebc authorized
to attest said execution by the Mayor and to affix the seal of the
ereto, all of which is to be clone in triplicate,

and to deliver three executed copies thereof to the Federal 'emergency
Administrator of Public Works for execution by him on behalf of the
United States of America and the City Clerk is further authorized
and directed to furnish to the Federal Emergency Administrator of
Public iNorl:s three certified copies of this orainance with the proof
of publication thereof and three certified copies of abstracts of
the minutes of the meetings of the government body of the City of
Salina relatin to and showing the due adoption of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
