AN ORDINANCE ordering owners of property on Ninth Street between Pacific
Avenue and EiAclld Avenue in the City of Salina to lay water service
pipes.
BE Ii )RDAIIITED by the Board of Commi.ssioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:

Section 1. That the owners of all lots abutting upon Ninth
Street in the City of Salina between Pacific Avenue and Euclid Avenue
shall be and they are hereby ordered tb lay water service pipes to
connect said lots with the water main or. PTinth Street to a point back
of the curb 11r_e on s-�ich street on account of the proposed paving of

said street within such li:nitc, n '_f the owners of any of ss,i(i lots
s �a.11 fail to lay slzch water service pipes vilthin tie time provided
by law then the water department of the City of Salina, Kansas, shall_
lay such water service pipes and rgT�ort to the Board of Commissioners

to be served thereb, in the same manner the other special taxes are

pipe shall be laid for each two lots or fractional parts thereof along
such paving.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall rive notice by pl,.blicati.on
in three issues of the official city paper to the v,rners of the lots
above referred to in the manner provided by law and the owners of such

lots shall lay such water service pipes within thirty days from the
date of the last publication of said notice.

from and after its publication in the official city paper.

AN ORDINANCE ordering owners of property on Ninth Street between
Pacific Avenue a nd Euclid Avenue in the City of Salina to lay
water service pipes.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the owners of all lots abutting upon Ninth
Street in the City of Salina between Pacific Avenue and Euclid
Avenue shall be and they are hereby ordered to lay water service
pipes to connect said lots with the water main on Ninth Street
to a point back of the curb line on such street on account of the
proposed paving of said street within such limits, and if the
owners of any of said lots shall fail to lay such water service
pipes within the time provided by law then the water department
of the City of Salina, Kansas, shall lay such water service pipes
and report to the Board of Com-q:essioners the cost thereof, which
the
cost shall be assessed against/ properties to be served thereby
