ORDINANCE NO. 4309
AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing the appropriation and
transfer of certain amounts from the Waterworks Fund to the
Paving Fund and to the Sewer Fund, for the purchase of bonds
for the Sinking Fund or Investment Account of the Waterworks
Department.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas;
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
and transferred from the Waterworks Fund in the City Treasury, to the
Paving Fund, in the City Treasury, the amount of $12,172.98, in pay-
ment of the purchase price of the following paving bonds, issued
under the provisions of Ordinance No. 4298, and which were purchased
from the City of Salina for the Sinking Fund, or Investment account,
of the Waterworks Department at the time of the sale of said bonds,
by authority of the Board of Commissioners, said bonds so purchased
and the price to be paid therefor being as follows:

Section 2. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
and transferred from the Waterworks Fund in the City Treasurys, to the
Sewer Fund in the City Treasury, the amount of $3,335.46, in payment
of the purchase price of the following Sewer Bonds, issued under the
provisions of Ordinance No. 4299, and which were purchased from the
City of Salina for the Sinking Fund, or Investment Account of the
Waterworks Department at the time of the sale of said bonds, by
authority of the Board of Commissioners, said bonds so purchased and
the price to be paid therefor being as follows:

Section 3. That the City Treasurer and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to make the proper entries on the
books of the City of Salina to effect the transfer of said amounts
from the Waterworks Fund to the Paving Fund and to the Sewer Fund,
as herein provided for.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
