4301 Levy General Revenue Taxes17 ORDINANCE NO. 4301 _ - (_ Published in the Salina Journal I AN ORDINANCE making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other puvpose in the City of Salina, Kansas for the year 1934. � I I BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of 9.7960 mills on the dollar be and the same is hereby levied on all real, personal and mixed property of whatsoever kind or nature (except intangible property otherwise taxes or assessed according to law) in the City of Salina, Kansas, which is a city of the first class having a population less than 50,000, for the year 1934 for the purposes hereinafter set forth and apportioned and divided as follows: For General Revenue 1.676 mills. For Park Fund .368 mills. For Water, Light, Heat and Power Fund 2.088 mills. For Fire Department Fund, for maintenance of fire department and for purchase of equipment 1.365 mills. Memorial Hall Fund for maintenance of military memorial, .089 mills. For Sewage Disposal Fund, for maintenance and operating sewage disposal plants, .269 mills. For General Bonds and Interest Fund 1.563 mills. For paving intersections bond fund, for annual installments of interest on bonds issued to pay for the improving and paving of squares and areas formed by the intersection of streets and alleys, 1.123 mills. For Library Fund .330 mills. For Band Fund .189 mills For Sinking Fund, to pay bonds becoming due in the future, .099 mills. For General Improvement Fund, .637 mills. Section 2, That valuation of the property upon which the foregoing taxes are levied and assessed be in all cases taken from the assessment rolls of the present year in the office of the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, and that it shall be the duty of the City Clerk of the City of Salina, Kansas, Immediately upon and after the passage of this ordinance and on or before the 25th day of August 1933, to transmit a duly certified copy of the same to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, so that the levy may be placed upon the tax roll and the taxes collected according. to law.
