Kansas:
Section 1+ That there be and there is hereby levied and
assessed against each of the lots and parts of lots hereinafter
described a special tax or assessment for the purpose of paying
the cost of cutting weeds on said lots and parts of lots and on
the parkways in front of the same or abutting thereon, from August
15, 1932 to August 14, 1933, said weeds having been out as provided
by law pursuant to notice duly published in the official city paper,

authorized to immediately certify the assessments made in Section
One (1) of this ordinance to the County Clerk of Saline County,
Kansas, to be placed upon the tag roll for collection, subject to
the same penalties and collected in like manner as other taxes
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its publication once in the official city
paper•

ORDINANCE NO. 4297
AN ORDINANCE levying special assessments against certain property
to pay .the cost of cutting weeds on certain lots and parts
of lots and on the parkways abutting thereon in the City
of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied
and assessed against each of the lots and parts of lots hereinafter
described a special tax or assessment for the purpose of paying
the cost of cutting weeds on said lots and parts of lots and on
