ORDINANCE N0. 4694
AN ORDINANCE appropriating and transferring a certain sum of money
from City of Salina Sewer Fund to Waterworks Department Fund
in the City Treasury, in part payment of a Temporary Note.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
from the City of Salina Sewer Fund to the Waterworks Department
Fund the sum of $897.06, said sum being the unexpended balance of
an amount of $4,022.60 appropriated and transferred to the City of
Salina Sewer Fund from the Waterworks Department Fund, is provided
by Ordinance Number 4662 passed and approved July 22, 1936, said
sum of $897.06 to be applied to the partial payment of and credited
upon Temporary Note No. 3, dated July 23, 1936, for $4,022.60)j now
held in the Waterworks Department Investment Fund, the balance of
said note to be paid out of the proceeds of special assessments
heretofore levied for the payment of the cost of Lateral Sanitary
Sewers No. 172 and 173, or from the proceeds of Bonds which may be
issued for such purpose.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager upon
the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

Kansas.
