AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing the appropriation of
a certain amount from the Paving Fund to the Waterworks Depart-
*ent Fund, to take up and pay certain Temporary Notes issued
in payment of certain paving work, and which were purchased by
and held in the Sinking Fund or Investment Account of the Water-
works Department Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated and
transferred from the Paving Fund in the City Treasury to the
Waterworks Department Fund in the City Treasury the sum of
$41,463.26 in payment of certain temporary notes heretofore
issued in payment of certain paving work, and which Temporary
Notes were heretofore purchased by and held in the Sinking
Fund, or Investment Account of the Waterworks Department Fund,
and Ynich payment is now to be paid with interest now due there-
on as follows:

Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned
in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage*
