AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing the appropriation of
a certain amount from the Special Bonds and Coupons Fund to
the Waterworks Department Fund, to take up and pay certain
Temporary Notes issued in payment of certain paving work, and
which were purchased by and held in the Sinking Fund, or Invest-
ment Account of the Waterworks Department Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated and
transferred from the Special Bonds and Coupons Fund in the City
Treasury to the Waterworks Department Fund in the City Treasury
the sum of $2,787.08, in payment of certain temporary notes here-
tofore issued in payment of certain paving work, and which Temporary
Notes were heretofore purchased by and held in the Sinking Fund, or
Investment Account of the Waterworks Department Fund, and which
payment is now to be paid with interest now due thereon as follows:

Note No. 7, dated June 5, 1934 $1586.95 $145,80
Note No. 10,dated Aug. 70 1934 $1000.00 (Balance) 54.33
Section 2. That the City Treasurer and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to make the proper entry in the books trans-
ferring said amount as hereinabove provided for,
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
