That the following described territory in the City of Salina, Kansas, to -:pit: Lots 11 20 31 42 52 61 7 and 8 in Block 13 in Pacific Addition in the City of Salina be and the same is here- by removed from the "^_" Residence District and placed in and made a part of the "D" Light Industrial District as provided for in Ordinance No. 3138, provided however, that any building or structure erected upon or moved onto any of said lots or any use made of said lots shall be first submitted to the Board of Colmissioners of said city and the plans for any such building and the proposed use of such premises shall be approved by the Board of Co,,i:iissioners of said city before any building permit shall be issued for any such build- ing and before any use shall be made of any such property which would not have been permissible except for this ordinance. Section 2. That the following described territory in the City of Salina, Kansas, to -wit: Lot 3 on 17alnut Street in School Park according to the plat of original town of Salina (being lot 3 on Walnut Street between Seventh and highth Street) be and tae same is hereby removed from the "B" Residence District and added to and made a part of the "C" Commercial District as provided for in Ordinance No. 3138, provided however, that any building or structure erected upon or moved onto any of said lots or any use made of said lots shall be first submitted to the Board of Co:=issioners of said city and the plans for any such building and the proposed use of such premises shall be approved by the Board of Co':missioners of said city before any building permit shall be issued for any such building and before any use shall be made of any such property ti=rhich would not have been permissible except for this ordinance. Section 3. If any provisions or restrictions contained in either of the preceding sections of this ordinance shall be held invalid for any reason then the whole of such section inwhich the same is contained shall be deemed to be invalid and of no effect, it being the intention of the Board of Colr=is,sioners to adopt each of the foregoing sections of this ordinance as a whole and that no part of either section shall be effective unless the whole of such Section is effective.
