AN ORDINANCE relating to license taxes on tent shows.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That for the remainder of the season of 1936, being
from the date this ordinance takes effect until September 1, 1936, the
license tax for tent shows, as provided for in Section 6 of Ordinance
No. 4421, shall be, instead of the rates provided for in said section,
as follows:
For operating or permitting the operation of tent shows on any
tract of land in the City of Salina, for the remainder of the season
of 1936 as a-ove defined, the person owning such tract of land or
permitting the operation of tent shows thereon shall pay a license
fee of $50.00, plus a license tax of $5.00 per day for each day on
which any tent show is operated thereon; Provided, that nothing in
this ordinance shall be deemed to repeal or in any manner affect
the provisions of said Ordinance No. 4421 except to the extent and
for the time that the rate of license tax for tent shows is speci-
fically changed hereby.
Section 2. 11Zis ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.

AN ORDINANCE relating to license taxes on tent shows.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas.
Section 1. That for the remainder of the season of 1936,
being fromtthe date this ordinance takes effect until September 1,
19363, the license tax for tent shows, as provided for in Section
6 of Ordinance No. 4421, shall be, instead of the rates provided
for in said section, as follows:
For operating or permitting the operation of tent shows

of land or permitting the operation of tent shows thereon shall
pay a license fee of $50.00, plus a license tax of 05.00 per day
for each day on which any tent show is operated thereon; Provided,
that nothing in this ordinance shall be deemed to repeal or in. any
manner affect the provisions of said Ordinance No. 4421 except to
the extent and for the time that the rate of license tax for tent
shows is specifically changed hereby.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its publication in the official city paper.
