AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3188, as amended, by permitting
the use of certain territory now located in "C" Commercial District
for certain purposes not now provided for or permitted by said
ordinances.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did on the 9th day of March,
19360 recommend to the Board of Commissioners that the zoning ordinance
of the City of Salina be amended by permitting the erection ftLot 3
and 4 in Block 40.Evergreen Park Addition to the City of Salina now
located in the "C" Commercial District of an office building, studio
or work room for the purpose of conducting_a monument business there-
in and on said lots, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such recommendations public notice was duly
given by publication for thirty days in the Salina Journal, the
official city paper, of such proposed change and that a public
hearing_. thereon would be held by the Board of Commi,ssloners of said
city at 4:30 P.M. on April 27, 19360 and at the meeting aB held
pursuant to said notice no objections to said proposed change were
present or filed; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:

amencWed- permitting the erection ofi Lot 3 and 4, Block 4, in

Evergreen Park Addition to the City of Salina now located in the
"C" Commercial District of an office building and studio or work
room for the purpose of conducting a jam meat business therein and
on said lots including the business of coloring, carving and sell-
ing monuments under such conditions and regulation as the Board of
Commissione s of said city may hereafter prescribe and provided
that before any building for such purpose is erected, reconstructed
or used on such lots, the plans therefore including the set -back
and landscaping shall be submitted to and approved by the Board
of Commissioners of said city and that all improvements and con-
struetion used on such lot for such purpose shall be in accordance
with the plans so approved.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
