AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation from the Drainage and Paving
Improvements Construction Account Public Works Administra-
tion State File No, Kansas 1050-R Account for the payment
of a certain claim.
$F IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
,Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $31,098.82 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of "Drainage and Paving Improvements
Construction Account Public Works Administration State File No.
Kansas 1050-R Account" in the City Treasury for the payment of
the following claim relating to the construction of drainage
and paving improvements on Tenth Street from Park Street to
Elm Street and on Santa Fe Avenue from Elm Street to right-of-
way of Union Pacific Railroad Company, prior to May 1, 1936,
under contract dated October 28, 1935:
H. J. Taylor Construction
Company,
Estimate No. 2 for material
furnished and labor performed
in the construction of drainage
and paving improvements P.W.A.
Docket State File No. 1050-R
$31,098.82
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned
in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
