AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3538 relating to
dogs and repealing original Section 1"of-said ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1, That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3538 be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows-.
"Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the owner or person
In charge of any dog to permit any such dog to run at large with-
in the City of Salina between the 15th day of March and the 15th
day of September, provided that any dog kept securely tied or
kept securely within an enclosure on private premises or lead
by a chain, strap or rope by some person in charge of such dog
or riding inside of any vehicle with the owner or person in charge
of such dog shall not be deemed to be running at large within the
projrisions of this ordinance*"
Section 2. That original Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3538
by and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
