AN ORDINANCE providing; that certain tracts of land which adjoin the present limits of the City of Salina, Kansas be added to, taken into and made parts of the City of Salina; ex - j tending the limits of said city to include said added lands; defining the corporate limits of said city as extended; and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance. BE IT CRDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That that certain unplatted tract of land lying in the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 2, Township 14 south, Range 3 west of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, and which is described by metes and bounds as follows: Commencing at a point in the south line of the northeast quarter of said Section Two, 84.6 feet west of the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of said Section Two; thence west along said line 75 feet; thence north 395 feet more or less to a point in the center of the channel of Dry Creek (as heretofore existing); thence in a northerly and westerly direction up the center line of the charnel of said Dry Creek to its intersection with the north line of the south half of the northeast quarter of said Section Two; thence east along the north line of the south half of the northeast quarter of said Section Two to a po' nt 106.1 feet west of the east line of the northeast quarter of said Section Two; thence south 237.8 feet; thence east 45 feet; thence south 512 feet; thence east 5 feet; thence south 413 feet;thence west 30 feet; thence south to the point of beginning, (which tract above described includes the north 20 feet of a public township road which runs through and across the south 20 feet of said tract above described), all of which tract of land above described exclusive of the public road above referred to contains 9.71 acres more or less In area and which is so situated that all of the south boundary line thereof lies upon i or touches the present boundary line of said city as heretofore established, and which tract does not exceed twenty acres in areas, be and the same is hereby added to, taken into and made a part of the i City of Salina, Kansas. That the certain unplatted tract of land lying in i i the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 1, Township 14 south, Range 3 west of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, and which is described by metes and boundsasfollows: Commencing at a point in the center of the channel of Dry Creek 75.4 feet east of the west line of the northwest quarter of said Section 1, which print is approximately 230 feet north of 174 the south line of the northwest quarter of said Section 1; thence down the center of the channel of Dry Creek (as heretofore existing) in an easterly and northerly direction to a pont in the center of the channel of said Dry Creek 327.6 feet south of the north line of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of said Section 1; thence west to a point 327.6 feet south and 44.2 feet east of the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of said Section 1; thence south 785.2 feet; thence east 30 feet; thence south to the point of beginning, said tract containing 4.95 acres more or less, and which tract is so situated that all of the south boundary line thereof lies 1.ipon or touches the present boundary line of said city as heretofore established, and which tract does not exceed twenty acres in area, be and the Name is hereby-{ by added to, taken into and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
