ORDINANCE NO 4539
AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorising the appropriation of a certain
amount from the Paving Fund to the Waterworks Fund, to take
up and pay a part of a certain Temporary Note issued in pay-
ment of certain paving work, and which was purchased by and
held in the Sinking Fund, or Investment Account of the Water-
works Department:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated and
transferred from the Paving Fund in the City Treasury, to the Waterworks
Fund in the City Treasury the sum of $18,938.35, in part payment of a cer-
tain paving work, and which temporary note was -heretofore purchased by
and held in the Sinking Fund, or Investment Account of the Waterworks
Department, and which payment is now to be paid out of the funds which
have been paid into said Special Paving Fund from special assessments
levied for the payment of the cost of such work, and from allotment
made by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, said
temporary note with the interest now due thereon being asfollows:

Section 2. That the City Treasurer and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to make the proper entry in the books transferring
said amount as hereinabove provided for.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
