AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain

claim.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Sal i. na,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sues of $770.48 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the Special
Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of Final estimate
for furnishing supervision, tools, equipment and supplies, except
material as provided for in special specifications and all other
costs with exception of labor, in the construction of Storm Sewer
No. 17-B, under contract dated February 18, 1935,
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on
or before sixty (60) days from date°and to draw interest at the
rate of Three (3%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
