AN ORDINP.NCE providing for the vacation of a portion of Olive
Street and a portion of a certain alley in the City of Salina,
Kansas,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas;
Section 1. That that portion of Olive Street in the City
of Salina lying between the north line of Park Street and the
northerly line of the right-of-way of the Salina Northern Rail-
road and lying between and adjacent to Lot 8 in Block 14, in Elm -
dale Addition and Park Yo. l in T?lm Grove Addition and that part of
the alley running east and west in said Block 14, Elmdale Addition
lying west of the west line of Lot 11 in said Block 14, be and the
same are hereby vacated as and for a public street and a public
alley in the City of Salina and that said portion of said street
and of said alley shall revert to and become parts of the lots
adjacent thereto in equal portions as provided by lava; provided,
however, that the City of Salina hereby reserves the right -of. -way
or easement in the portions of said street and alley so vacated
for the purpose of laying, constructing, repairing and maintaining
water mains, sewers, and for permitting therein the construction
laying, repairing, maintaining of electric light and telephone
wires, poles and conduits and gas mains by persons having a
franchise or permit therefore from the City of Salina.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
