AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation from the Sewer Fund for the
payment of a certain claim.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of X5,371.31 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the Sewer Fund in the City Treasury
for the payment of the following claim:
H. J. Taylor Construction Co. For final estimate for
Southern Heights Sanitary
Sewage Pumping Plant, as

Section 2. That a Temporary Note to be signed by the

Mayor and City Clerk for the sum of 15,371.31 dated June 14,

1938, payable to the order of H. J. Taylor Construction Company,
bearing interest at the rate of two per cent per annum from date
j until paid, payable out of the City of Salina Sewer Fund is hereby
authorized, such note to be payable out of such fund after there
i
has been received and paid into such fund the proceeds of the
sale of bonds to be authorized in payment of the cost of such

improvement referred to in Ordinance Number 4843 of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.

AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation from the Sewer Fund for the
payment of a certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissione2s of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $5,371.31 be and the
same is hereby appropriated out of the Sewer Fund in the City
Treasury for the payment of the following claim:
H. J.Taylor Construction Co. For final estimate for
Southern Heights Sanitary
Sewage Pumping Plant, as per
contract dated April 4, 1938 $50371.31
Section 2. That a Temporary Note to be signed by the
Mayor and City Clerk for the sum of $5,371.31 dated June 14, 1938,
payable to the order of H. J, Taylor Construction Company, bearing
interest at therate of two per cent per annum from date until
paid, payable out of the City of 4alina Sewer .Fund is hereby__
authorized, such note to be payable out of such fund after there
has been received and paid into such fund the proceeds of the sale
of bonds to be authorized in payment of the cost of such improve-
ment referred to in Ordinance Number 4843 of the City of Salina,
Kansas.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
