No. 13496 a.certain judgment.was rendered by said court In said

Kansas, on January- 7j, 1937, and. which. -judgment. was.1or the recovery
of money heretofore. paid -by.. said__county. to. said_ city on account of
special assessments levied.by.said eitybut.whieh had not been
collected by said county, there shall_.be.andthere are hereby issued
negotiable .coupon judgment bonds of_. the City of Salinas, Kansas, in

Section 2* Said issue shall be designated As Series J-116 and

approximately equal amounts each year for ten years. All of said

Section 5. Said_bonds_and the coupons attaehed_thereto shall be
duly registered in. the office of the City Clerk, and in _ the office of
the Auditor. of State, and_ the certificates of the City. Clerk and of the
Auditor_ of State in due form, attesting the proper registration of such
bonds and coupons shall..be endorsed on each -of such bonds.
Section 6r The Mayor and City Clerk of the City. of Salina, Kansas
are hereby authorized. _and_ directed to prepare and execute the bonds
and coupons hereinbefore described, and to cause said bonds and coupons
to be registered in. the office of the City Clerk -and. 1n the office of
the State Anditor, and.When duly exequted and registered.to offer them
for sale to the State Board. of School Fund Commissioners, and if rejected
by such Board to sell them in the manner- -.provided by law., and to deliver
:said bonds to the purchaser thereof upon payment of the purchase price.
Section. 7_, . The Board of Ooamnissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas, shall annually make_pr.ovisions for the payment of the principal
and interest on.said..bonds,.by levying.taxes upon all of the taxable

thereafter shall be collected and paid to the City .Treasurer as provided
by law.
