AN ORDINANCE providing for the issuance of refunding bonds of the
City of.Salina,-Kansas,-in the aggregate.amount of $70,000.00
f for the purpose of refunding certain_ .outstanding bonds of such
city in &.like_amount,.to be designated_as Series R-115.
WEREAS, there are at this time outstanding bonded obligations of
the City of Salina, Kansas, as_.hereinaft-er more specifically des-
cribett which. will mature .on the dates hereinafter set forth during
the year.1938 and.for the.payment of which. -at. -maturity there are
I not and will_.not . be on the dates of maturity funds in the treasury
I of. said, city for_ the _payment thereof .9 and _ it is hereby determined
by the .Board _of_ Ccmmnissionera._of said city. that it is necessary and
for the best. interest. of said city to- refund_ said indebtedness and
to issue. the. _rzeSunding . bonds of said city in the_ amount of said out-
standing bonds; and
VUEREAS, all_ -acts, conditions and things required by the constitution
and laws, of the. State of. Kansas, to .exist, happen. or be performed
pr_eeadent- .to_ the issuance of said -refunding bonds of the City of
Salina,_ _Kansas, . in the amount- of. $700,000.00 for such purpose, and
in_the. issuance of the bonds hereby refunded, -..have happened and
been. -performed In. -regular and due form, time and. manner; NOW THEREFORE

with the provisions, restrictions and limitations of Chapter 10,
Article 1, Revised Statutes of Kansas, 1323, and all acts ame21datory,
complementary, and supplemental thereto, and such bonds and ',1ie
interest thereon are to be paid by the City of Salina, Kansas„
Al"dD IT IS MERELY CERTIFIED AND RECITED that all acts, condi-
tions and things required to be done precedent to and in the issu-
ance of said bonds, have been properly done, happened and performed
in regular and due form as required by law, and that the indebted-
ness Which is refunded by this series of bonds, is a constitutional,
subsisting and legal obligation of said City and that neither the
indebtedness which is refunded nor this series of bonds exceed any
statutory or constitutional limitation.
