C AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing the appropriation and
transfer of a certain amount from the Paving Fund and the
General Improvement Fund in the City -Treasury, to the Water-
works Fund to take up and pay a certain Temporary Note issued
in payment of certain sidewalk construction, and which was
purchased by and held in the Sinking Fund, or Investment
Account of the IVaterworks Department.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas
Section 1. That there !�e and there is hereby appropriated and
transferred from the paving Fund in the City Treasury, to the 4lateree
works Fund in the City Treasury the sum of $625.640in payment of
Temporary Note No, 11, issued to L. C. Ahart, August 7, 1934 for
constructing sidewalks.
Section 2• That there be and there is hereby appropriated and
transferred from the General Improvement Fund in the City Treasury
to the Waterworks Fund in the City Treasury the sum of $81.9720in
payment of interest on the above mentioned Temporary Note from August
70 1934 to November 16, 1937.
Section 3. That the City Treasurer and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to make the proper entries in the books
transferring said amounts as hereinabove provided for.
Section 4. This ordi:,ance shall take effect and be in force
from and afterits passage.

AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing the appropriation and
transfer of a certain amount from the Paving Pund and
the General Improvement Fund in the City Treasury, to the
Waterworks Pond to take up and pay a certain Temporary
Note issued in payment of certain sidewalk construction,
and which was purchased by and held in the Sinking Fund ,
or Investment Account of the Waterworks Department.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
and transferred from the Paving Fund in the City Treasury, to the
Waterworks Fund in the City Treasury the sum of $625.54 in payment
of Temporary Note No. 11, issued to L. Co Ahart, August 7, 1934
for constructing sidewalks.
Section 2. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
and transferred from the General Improvement Fund in the City Treas-
ury to the Waterworks Fund in the City Treasury the stun of $81.97,
in payment of interest on the above mentioned Temporary Note from
August 7, 1934 to November 16, 1937.
Section 3,-, That the City Treasurer and City Clerk are
hereby authorized 9nd directed to make the proper entries in the
books transferring said amounts as hereinabove provided for.
Section A I This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
