i AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3188 by adding certain territory
to the "CTM Commercial District as defined by Section 5 of
said ordinance and defining and restricting the uses of the
territory added to said district*
WHEREAS, the proposed changes in the zoning ordinance in the City of
Salina as contained in the following ordinance have been submitted by
the Board of Commissioners to the City Planning Oommission and has been
referred back to the Board of Commissioners with the recommendation of
said Commission, and due notice thereof has been given as required by
law, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section le Ihat the following described lands within the City of

Salina shall be and the same e am are hereby included in, added to and made
a part of the "CTM Commercial District as defined in Section 5 of Ordin-
ance 3188 and said Ordinance as amended and that said lands may be used
for the purposes designated in Section 10 of said Ordinance 3188, sub-
ject to the restrictions and regulations hereinafter provided for,to-wit:
The north 90 feet of Lots 82 and 83 on Ash Street, Original Town
of Salina.
Section 2. That any commercial building constructed on any of

the land described in the proceeding section of this ordinance may
be used for any of the purposes designated in Section 10, of Ordinance
3188, provided however, that before any building permit shall be issued,
a
for the construction, erection, or reconstruction of any building on
any of said land and before any building or other structure is moved
on to said land, the plans for such building and the purpose for which
it is to be used, with the proposed set -back. froom street lines of any
such building or any other improvements on said land, shall be submitted
to the Board of Commissioners of said city and shall be approved by such
Board and it shall be unlawful to use any of such land for any purpose
other than residence purposes without such approval by the Board of
Comx issioners, providing however, that if any restrictions or conditions
provided for in this section shall be held to be invalid as to any lot
or piece of ground described in Section 1 of this ordinance' then this
entire ordinance shall be held to be invalid and ineffective as to such
lot or piece of ground, it being the intention of the Board of Commissione
to enact this ordinance as a whole as to each lot or piece of ground des-
cribed in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper.

AN ORDINIANCE amending Ordinance No. 3188 by adding certain territory
to the "C" Commercial District as defined by Section 5
of said ordinance and defining and restricting the uses
of the territory added to said district.
WHEREAS, the proposed changes in the zoning ordinance in the City
of Salina as contained in the following ordinance have been sub-
mitted by the Board of Commissioners to the City Planning Com-
mission and has been referred back to the Board of Commssioners
with the recommendation of said Commission, and due notice there-
of has been given as required by law, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1• Mat the following described lands within the
City of Salina shall be and the same are hereby included in,
added to and made a part of the "C" Commercial District as de-
fined in Section a of Ordinance 3188 and said Ordinance as amended
and that said lands may be used for the purposes designated in
Section 10 of said Ordinance 3188, subject to the restrictions
and regulations hereinafter provided for to -wit:
The north 90 feet of Lots 82 and 83 on Ash Street, Original
Town 4f Salina.
Section 2• That any commercial building constructed on any

of Ordinance 3188, provided however, that before any building

construction of any building on any of said land and before any

for such building and the purpose for which it is to be used, with
the proposed set -back from street lines of any such building or
any other improvements on said land, shall be submitted to the
Board of Cormnissioners of said city and shall be approved by such
Board and it shall be unlawful to use any of such land for any
purpose other than residence purposes without such approval by
the Board of Commissioners providing howeverx that if any re-
strictions or conditions provided for in this section shall be
held to be invalid as to any lot or piece of ground described
in Section 1 of this ordinance, then this entire ordinance shall
be held to be invalid and ineffective as to such lot or piece of
ground, it being the intention of the Board of Commissioners to
enact this ordinance as a whole as to each lot or piece of ground
described in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
