Kansas:
SECTIUN 1. That whenever any consumer of water shall move from one
location orpremises to another in or adjacent to the City of Salina,
or whenever water is turned off at any premises on account of the
failure of the consumer to pay the water charges for water used on
any such premises, or whenever any consumer or applicant for wated
service is indebted to the water depa�rtrr:ent of the City of Salina
for any water previously furnished to him either at the premises for
which an application is made or at any other place in the City of
Galina, the Superintendent of the Vuaterworks Department shall refuse
to turn on or authorize the turning on of water for any such consumer
or applicant at any place, until all previous charges due to the
water department for whatever premises, have been fully paid by such
consumer or applicant, and all other requirements and charges, whetiler
in the nature of penalties, shut off or turn on charges, or, deposits
as required try ordinance, sh<.:11 have been paid, and no applicant or
consumer shall be entitled to water turned

until all such ciarges ana requirements have been fully paid and
complied with, ana the Superintendent of the water department shall be
authorized to make all reasonable rules ana regulations to secure the
payment of any sums aue to the water department of the City of Salina
as may in his judgement be necessary.
SECTiuN 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
pubiicatiun in the oft'i cial city paper.

ORDINANCE N0, 3737
AN ORDINANCE relating to the Waterworks Department of the City of
Salina, and to the payment and collection of charges for water
furnished by the City of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED BY the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,.
Kansas:
SECTION 1. That whenever any consumer of water shall move from one
location or premises to'dnother in or adjacent to the City of Salina,
or whenever water is turned.off at any premises on account of the
failure of the consumer,to pay the.water chargees for water used on
any such premises, or whenever any consumer or applicant for water
service is indebted to the water department of the City of Salina
for any water previously furnished to him either at the premises for
which an applicationis made or at any other place in the City of
