of Salina the work of rebuilaing and reconstructing a certain part
of the
main sewer in iish Street in the City of Salina between a
point where the main sewer crosses the Smoky hill river near Front
Street, and the terminus
of saia sewer at the Smoky hill river at
the
east end of ash Street, and at the sewage pumping station at
said place, and the force
sewage main running along the westerly
bank of the Smoky Hill river between Ash
Street and Ohio Street,
has been completed ana the City Engineer's final estimate of the
cost thereof has been filed and approved, ana such cost including
the engineering and incidental expense in connection therewith,
as allowed by law, has been found and determined to be the sum of

of the cost thereof which was ii,aae ana filed pursuant to said
ordinance, and

of Salina, the work of repairing ana reconstructing a certain
portion of the main sewer in Ash Street between Front Street and
hiverside Drive has been coaq,leted ana the City Engineer's final
estimate of the cost thereof including engineering and incidental
expense in connection therewith has been filed ana approved, and
the cost thereof' has been found and determined to be the sum of

BE 1"! Uh11�li�ED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. 'That for the purpose of providing funds to pay
the costs of the improvements hereinbefore described there shall
be and there are hereby issued Internal Improvement Bonds of the
City of Z)alina, Kansas in the total Principal sun; of :20,978.17
which shall become due in ten approximately equal annual install-
ments as follows: 02,978.17 on august 1st, 1930 and $;2,000.00
on t,ugust 1st in each year thereafter up to and including the
year 1939, all of said bonds to bear interest at the rate of
4-1/2 per cent per annum, payable semi-annually on the first day
of r'ebruary and tiugust each year, and to be of denominations and
to mature as follows: One bond for 0978.17 ana two bonds for
y;A2000.00 each due on iiugust lst each year thereafter up to and
including nugust 1st, 1939.
Section Said bonas shall be executed by the Mayor and
shall be attested by the City Clerk, and the corporate seal of
the city shall be affixed thereto. Said bonds shall have attached
thereto interest coupons representing the interest thereon and said
interest coupons sriall bear the fac-simile signatures oi' the Alayor
and pity Clerk of saia city.
Section 3. Said bonds shall be in the form ana shall contain

tenor, excepting denomination and maturity, aggregating the principal

purpose of paying the cost of repairing, rebuilding; and reconstructing
certain sewers in said city, by the authority of ana in full compliance
with the provisions, restrictions and limitations of the constitution
and laws of the z)tate of Kansas, including oections 12-617, 12-618;
13-1013, 13-1018 of the icevised Statutes of Kansas 1926, and ammendments
thereto, :end Chapter 114 of Laws of 1929, ana all other provisions of
the laws of saici state applicable thereto, ana this bond and all of
the other bonds of tris series, and all interest thereon are to be
paid by the City of Salina, Kansas.
fis it is hereby declared ana certified that all acts, conditions
and things required to be done ana to exist precedent to and in the
issuance of tris bond have been properly done and performed ana do
exist in due ana regular form and manner as required by the Consti-
tution and laws of the Mate of Kansas, and that the total indebted-
ness of said city, including this series of bonds, does not exceed
any constitutional or statutory limitation.

AN ORDINANCE providing for the issuance of improvement bonds of
the City of Salina, Kansas in the sum of $20,978.17
to pay the cost of repairing, rebuilding and reconstructing

;WHEREAS, pursuant to proceedings,duly.had according to law, and
as authorized and provided for by Ordinance No;. 3592. of the City
of Salina the workof rebuilding and reconstructing ,a certain part._
of - the"main -seiner in Ash Street -1 the City.of.Salina -between--a
