certain claim.
BE I'.L Ur�Di LI ED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
section 1. That the sum of qp11,968.42 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to H. J. Naylor Construction Company, from
the Special sewer r'und in ,he City 'Treasury for the payment of
85�6 of the contract price for materials furnished ana labor
performed prior to July 1st, 1929, in the construction of otorm
sewers, under contract dated iviarch 25th, 1929.
Jection 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of balina,
Kansas, be issued for rhe payment of the claim mentioned in z)ection
Une (1) of this ordinance,said l:ercporar,y "o to to be payable on
or before six (6) rGonths from date, and to draw interest at the
rate of six per cent (6J) per annum.
section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from ana after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas::
Section 1. That the sum of 11,968.42 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, from
the Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of'
85% of the contract price for materials furnished.and labor
performed prior to July 1st, 1929, in the construction of Storm
Sewers, under contract dated March 25th,.1929.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in bection
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on
or before 6 months from date; and to drag
interest at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
