AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT UhDjINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of qP23,158.39 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to L. W. hexroad from the Special Paving;
Fund in the City 'Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract
price for materials furnished and labor performed prior to 'July
lst, 1929 in the construction of curbing, guttering and paving
certain streets under contract dated "�ar•ch 11th, 1929.
Section 2. That a 'Temporary Note of the City of Lalina,
Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Sedtion Une (1) of this ordinance,said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before ninety (90) days from date, and to
draw interest at the rate of six per cent (0o) per _annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.

is hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving
Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract
price for materials furnished and labor performed prior to July
1st, 1929 in the construction of curbing, guttering and paving
certain streets under contract dated March 11th, 1929.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas -be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
"action One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before " 0 ninety _.days from date, and to
draw interest at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum.
- Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
