xN WIDliv,�iNCE making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE I1' WADt:INGI) by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
')alina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $965.33 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the especial Paving
Fund in the City 'Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract
price for materials furnished and labor performed prior to
July lst, 1929, in the construction of excavating, curbing,
guttering and pavi:,g certain streets, under contract dated June
10th, 1929.
bection 2. That a nen,porary Note of the City of Galina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claiii, mentioned in
Section une (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary note to be puy-
able on or before (90) Ninety days from date, and to draw
interest at the rate of four and one-half per cent (41/1) per
annum .
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of.
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $965.33 be and the same
