AN OhDINi-.NCE amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2993, being Sedtion 5-202
Revised ordinances 1925 relating, to the constructi:. n of buildings and
the issuing of permits therefor, and repealing said original section.
BE I'T' OhD,,11NED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
SEC`i'ION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2993 being Section 5-202 Revis-
ed Statutes 1925, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2. (5-202) Permits must be taken out before any work is started
and the fees for permits on all buildings based on the estimated costs of
the improvements shall be as follows:
1$1,000 or less §1.00
x;12000 to X1500 1.50
x$11500 to 43000 2.50
$3,000 to X5000 5.00
450000 to 1p10$000, 10.00
X10,000 to X20,000, 20.00
$20,000 to $40,000, 30.00
All over 040,000, 25� for each X1,000 additional.
The person applying for such permit shall file therewith application show-
ing estimated cost of the building and its location, and any other informa-
tion which may be required by the Building Inspector relating; to the same,
and all fees collected by the Building Inspector under the provisions of
this ordinance or any other ordinance of the City of Salina shall be
accounted for and paid into the City 'Treasury by the Buildinj�- Inspector, be-
tween the first and tenth of each month, covering all fees collected by him
during the previous ii;onth, and a duplicate copy of his report and receipts
shall be filed at the same time in the office of the City CTerk."
SEC'T'ION 2. That original Section 2 of ordinance No. 2993 being Section 5-202
Revised Ordinances 1925 be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of-Salina,Kansas:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of.Ordinance No.2993 being Section 5-202 Revis
ed Statutes 1925, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2.(5-202} Permits must be taken out before any work is started.
