AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Oommissionersof the City of Salina,
Kansas,
Section I. 'hat the sum of Vo917.82 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving rund in
the City Treasury for the payment of 85,% of the contract price for
materials furnished and labor performed prior to June 1st, 1929, in
the construction of excavating, curbing, guttering and paving certain
streets under contract dated March 11th, 1929.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or beofre
ninety days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of sic per
cent ( 6%) per annum.
Section 3. Phis ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Sectionl. That the sum of $7,917.82'be and the
same is hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special
Paving Fund in the City 'Treasury for the payment of 85% of the
contract price for materials furnished and labor performed
prior to June lst, 1929, in the construction of excavating,.
curbing, guttering and paving certain streets under contract
dated March 11th, 1929.
Section 2. That a 'Temporary Note of the City of
Salina, Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim men-
tioned in.rS.ec.tion.One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary
Note to be payable on or before ninety days from date, and
to draw interest at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
