i AN ORDIP�ANCE relating to and prohibiting the running,
pouring or draining of oil or grease or any similarsubstanceinto any sewer or into any street or alley or into any river
or creek in the City of Salina and providing for a penalty for
the violation of this ordinance.
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person firm o
r
corporation or for any member, officer, agent or employee there-
of in the City of Salina, Kansas, to place, run,pour or drain
into any sewer or to cause or permit the placing, running, pour-
ing or draining into any sewer or into any street, alley or other
place from which the same may run or drain into any sewer or into
any river or creek any fuel oil, lubricating oil, crank case oil,
i or grease or any other kind Of oil or frease whatsoever.
Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation or any member,
officer, employee or agent thereof who shall violate any of the

provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
j and up`n convication thereof shall be fined not less than ,100 nor
more than 4,500 for each offense and for a second or any subsequent
convication, of the same offense shall be
punished by a fine not less
than w)100 nor more than $500 and by imprisonment for not less than
one day nor more than thirty days for each offense.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper.

AN ORDINANCE relating to and prohibiting the running, placing,
pouring or draining of oil or grease or any similar substance
into any sewer or into any street or alley or into any river
or creek in the City of Salina and providing for a penalty
for the violation of this ordinance.
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation or for any member, officer, agent or employee there-
of in the City of Salina, Kansas, to place, run, pour or drain
into any sewer or to cause or permit the placing, running , pour-
ing or draining into any sewer or into any street, alley or other
place from which the same may run or drain into any sewer or into
any river or creek any fuel oil, lubricating oil, crank case oil,
or grease or any other kind of oil or grease whatsoever.
Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation or any member,
officer, employee or agent thereof who shall violate any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon convieation thereof shall be fined not less
than $100 nor more than $500 for each offense and for a second
or any subsequent conviction of the same offense shall be punished
by a fine not less than $100 nor more than $500 and by imprison-
ment for not less than one day nor more than thirty days for each
offense.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper.
