AN ORDINANCE appropriating and transferring certain money from the
Waterworks Department Fund to W. P. A. Project Number 5172 Account.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $4,000.00 be and the same is hereby

appropriated and transferred from the Waterworks Department Fund in
the CityTreasury to W. P. A. Project Number 5172 in the City Treasury
for the estimated cost of curbing and guttering Phillips Street from
Crawford to Charles; Republic Avenue from iiu_n- stop to Tv'Iissouri Pacific
right-of-way; Kirwin Avenue from Highland Avenue to Ninth Street;
Connecticut Avenue from Iron to Johnstown; Oakdale Avenue from Elm
Street to a point 550 feet north of Elm; and for the paving of the
unpaved portion of Ninth Street from Jewell to Cloud.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager upon
the City Treasurer for the purpose mentioned in Section One (1) of this
ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners cf the City of
