AN UkDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT UkDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of X61200.29 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to L. ". Rexroad from the Special Waving Fund in the
City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract price for
materials furnished and labor performed prior to May 1st, 19290
in the construction of excavating, curbing and guttering under
contract dated March 11th, 1929.
Section 2. 'hat Temporary Note of the City of Salina, °"ansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One
(1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or
before ninety days from date, and to draw interest at the rate
of sic per cent (6%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
