AN oRDINAIvCE creating and reopening certain alleys and parts of
alleys in the City of Salina, heretofore vacated by Ordinance
No. 2623, and vacating the proposed new alley referred to in
said ordinance No. 2323, and repealing ordinance No. 2323.
BE I'T oRD JNED by the hoard of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the 20 foot alley originally created and opened
under an7_'Fy virtue of the provisions of Ordinance No. 1178 duly
passed and approved on Iviarch 16th, 1903, comprising the South 20 feet
of Lot 57 on Santa Fe Avenue and the South 20 feet of Lot No. 58 on
Fifth Street, in the City of Salina, and which alley so created
was vacated by the provisions of Section 1 of orainance No. 2323
of the City of Salina, be and the same is hereby reopened and
recreated as and for apublic alley, no improvements having been
erected uponsaid alley since its vacation by the provisions of
Section 1 of ordinance No. 2323.

Section 2. That that portion of the alley running north and
south between Fifth Street and Santa Fe Avenue, from the south line
of Lot 59 on Santa Fe avenue and Lot 60 on Fifth Street to the mouth
line of Lot 57 on Santa Fe Avenue and Lot 58 on Fifth Street, which
portion of said alley was vacated by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2323,
be and the sante is hereby reopened and recreated, no improvements
having been constructed upon said portion of said alley since its
vacation under the provisions of said ordinance No. 2323.
Section 3. That the proposed alley referred to in ordinance
No. 2323, comprising a strip 20 feet in width off' the soath side of
Lot 59 on Santa Fe Avenue and Lot 60 on Fifth Street, which was to
have been deeded to the City of Salina by the Lee hardware Company
in lieu of the alleys vacated by the provisions Of';Sections 1 and
2 of said Urdinan de No. 2323, be and the same is hereby vacated, in
so far as the same has ever been in legal existence, the deed pro-
vided for and contemplated in said ordinance never }laving been executed
or delivered by the Lee "ardware Company to the City of Salina.
Section 4. That Ordinance No. 2323 of the City of Salina passed
and approved March lst, 1920 be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 5. That the costs of publication of this ordinance and
of its recording as herein provided be paid by the Lee Hardware Company,
the owner of the property affected.
Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect after its acceptance
in writing by the Lee hardware Company and after its
publication once
in the official city paper, and after such ordinance, and such written
acceptance are recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Salina
Coubty, Kansas.

An Ordinance creating and reopening certain alleys and parts of
alleys in the City of Salina, heretofore vacated by Ordinance
No. 2323, and vacating the proposed new alley refereed to in
said Ordinance No. 2323, and repealing Ordinance No. 2323
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
SECTION 1. That the 20 foot alley originally created and opened
-under and by virtue of the provisions of Ordinance No. 1178 duly
passed and approved on March 16th, 1903, comprising the South 20
feet of Lot 57 on Santa Fe Avenue and the South 20 feet of Lot
No. 58 6n Fif.th_Street,....=,in the City of Salina, and which alley.
so created was vacated by the provisions,of Section 1 of Ordinance
No. 2323 of the City of Salina, be and the same is hereby reopened
and recreated as and for a public alley, no improvments having been
erected upon said alley since its vacation by the provisions of
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2323.

comprising a strip 20 feet in width/of_Lot _ 59 on Santa Fe Avenue and
Lot 60 on Fifth Street, which.was to have been deeded to the City of
Salina by the Lee Hardware Company in lieu of the alleys vacated by
the provisions.of Sections 1 and 2 of said Ordinance No. 2323, be and
the same is hereby vacated, in so far as the same has ever been in
legal..existence, the deed provided for and contemplated in said ordi-
nance never having been executed or delivered by the Lee Hardware
Company to the City of Salina.
