WHEREAS, ordinance No. 3656 providing for the curbing, guttering and paving of rifth Street from the north line of Elm Street to the south line of North Street was duly passed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina on January 14th,;1929, and ordinance No. 3659 pro- viding for the curbing, guttering and p_ving of Columbia Avenue from the north line of Ash Street to Riverside Drive was duly passed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina on January 14th, 1929, and ordinance No. 3665 providing for the curbing, guttering and paving of Columbia Avenue from the north line of iron Ave,iue to the south line of Ash Street was duly passed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina on January 28th, 1929, and WHEREAS, said ordinances have not become effective for the reason that the same have not been published in the official city paper and in the opinion of the Board of Uommissioners it will be to the best interests to the City of Salina and of the property owners affected by such pro- posed improvements that the construction of such improvements be de- ferred until a later date, N01171 THEhEFUhE BE IT Or,DAINED by the hoard of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas. Section 1. "' at ordinances 3656, 3659 and 3665, as above described and re erred to, be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 2.
