hN ORDIN-4NCE providing for and autr ori7ing the appropriation
and transfer of certain unexpended balances in certain
sub -division or departments of the General Fund to an
account designated as the Unexpended Balance Account
of the General Fund, and authorizing and directing the
transfer of certain amounts fromsaid unexpended balance
account to certain other sub -division of the General Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the unexpended balances existing in certain
departments or sub -divisions of the General Fund as of December 31st,
1928, as follows:
Law Department ----------------$-80.54
Auto & Machine Repair ----------875.33
Police Department --------------4369.09
Milk Inspection Department ----- 215.07
all ag;gregatine__; the total sum of X5,540.03 be and they are hereby
transferred to a sub -division of the General Fund desinated as the
Unexpended Balance Account and that out of such Unexpended Balance
Y'ccount there be transferred to the following, funds, or sub -divisions
of the General Fund the following amounts to take care of the deficits
occurring in said funds or sub -divisions of General Fund as of
December 31st, 1928, to -wit:
Administration & Finance ---X1656.05
Building; Department ------- 1.306.86
Street Department --------- 1.891.00
Engineering Department ---- 970.78
Fire Department ----------- 758,64
all aggregating the total sum of X6583.33, and the City Treasurer
is hereby authorized and directed to make the proper entries in his
books as of December 31st, 1928 transferring said amounts as here-
inabove provided for.
Section 2 Tiais ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
