AN OhDINPIE CE making an appropriation for the x;ayment of a certain
claim.
BE IT Okh INED by the Board of Cor.missioners of the City of Salina,
Kan sas:
Section 1. That the sum of X3389.68, be and the same is
hereby appropriated to E. J. Taylor Construction Co�rpany, from the
Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury, for the payment of 85% of
Estimate for work performed prior to December 1st, 1928, under Sew -r
Contract dated October 15th, 1928.
Section 2. That a Temr ortiry Note of the City cf Sal.ira., Kansas,
be issued. for the payment of the clairr. mentioned. in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, said 'Terr,porary Note to be payable on or before
sixty (60) days frorn date and to bear interest at the rate of four
and one-half (4-L-') per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect, and be in force
from and after its passage.

An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of
a odrtain claim.
BE IT ORDAIN.D by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $3389.68, be and the
same is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor O'onstruction
Company, from the Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury,
for the payment of 85% of Estimate for work performed
prior to December 1st, 1928, under Sewer Contract dated
October 15th, 1928.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of
Salina, Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim
mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said
Temporaty Note to be payable on or before sixty(60) days
from d ate and to bear interest at the rate of four and one-
half '(4W%) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall t ake effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
