::N OkDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $80894.35 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the
Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of
the contract price for materials furnished and labor performed
prior to November 1st, 1928, in the construction of Sanitary Sewers,
according to City Engineers Estimate Number 1, Job No. 36, under
contract dated August 20th, 1928.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before 90 days from date, and to draw interest at
the rate of four and one-fourth (4-1/4J percent per annum.
Section 3. Whis ordinance shall take effect and be in
force Brom and after its passage.

City of Salina, Kansas:

same is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction
Company from the Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury
for the payment of 85% of the contract price for materials
furnished and labor performed prior to November 1st, 1928,
in the construction of Sanitary Sewers, according to City
Engineers Estimate Number 1, Job Noe 36, under contract
dated August 20th, 1928. -
