AN ORDINANCE making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other
purposes in the City of Salina, Kansas, for the year 1929.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Saline,
Kansas:
Section 1• That the sum of 11.8268 mills on the dollar be and
the some is hereby levied on all real, personal and mixed property of
whatsoever kind or nature within the City of Salina, Kansas for the
year 1929 for the purposes hereinafter set forth and apportioned and

Section 2. That valuation of the property upon which the fore-
going taxes are levied and assessed be in all cases taken from the
assessment rolls of the present year in the office of the County Clerk
of Saline County, Kansas and that it shall be the duty of the City
Clerk of the City of Salina, Kansas, immediately upon and after the
passage of this ordinance and on or before the 25th day of August 1928,
to transmit a duly certified copy of the same to the County Clerk of
Saline County,'Kansas, so that the levy may be placed upon the tax
roll and the taxes collected according to law.
Section 3• This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official city paper.
