AN ORDIIJANCE levying special assessments against certain property in
the City of Salina to pay the cost of constructing certain side-
walks therein.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board. of Commissioners of the City of Saline,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and thereis hereby levied and assessed
against each of the lots and parts of lots hereinafter described a
special tax or assessment for the purpose of paying the cost of con-
structing certain sidewalks as authorized by Ordinance abutting on
said property, and to pay the cost of repairing certain sidewalks as
provided by law, in the various amounts set opposite the following des-
cribed

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed and authorized
to immediately certify the assessments made in Section One (1) of this
ordinance to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be placed upon
the tax roll for collection, subject to the same penalties and collected
in like manner as other taxes, with interest at 61 per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its publication once in the official city paper.

AN ORDINANCE levying special assessments against certain
property in the City of Salina to pay the cost of
constructing certain sidewalks therein.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied
and assessed against each of the lots and parts of lots here-
inafter described a special tax or assessment for the purpose
of paying the cost of constructing certain sidewalks as author-
