AN ORDINANCE making an appropriaticn for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas;
Section 1. That the sum of $15,191.71 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, from the Special
Paving Fund in the City Treasury for thepayment of final estimate for
materials furnished and labor performed in the construction of curbing,
Sutt.ering and paving certain streets, according to City Engineers
Estimate, Job N. 35, under contract dated June 12th, 1928.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before
ninety days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of four and
one-fourth (4-1/4%) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
