AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas.
Section 1. That the sum of $2,745.60 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special raving fund in the
City Treasury for the payment of .he 70% to be paid by the City of
Salina of 85% of the contract price for materials furnished and labor
performed prior to July 1st, 1928, in the construction of certain
joint city and county street improvements, according to X City
Engineers Estimate No. 1, Job. No. 35, under contract dated June 12th,
1928.
Section 2. That Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before
ninety days from date, and to draw.rinterest at the rate of four and
one-fourth (44%) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
