AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas.
Section 1. That the sum of $1,098.29 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the
Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85%
of the contract price for materials furnished and labor performed
prior to July 1st, 1928, in the construction of curb and gutter
accordoing to City Engineers Estimate Number 1, Job No. 35, under
contract dated June 12th, 1928.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, -Lansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One
(1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before
ninety days from date, and bear interest at the rate of four and one-
fourth (44%) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
