3895 Bus Parkingl4 2 ORDINANCE NM. 3895 �� f AN ORDINANCE defining and establishing a parking zone for busses or stages on the south side of Ash Street in the City of Salina and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance and providing a penalty for the violation of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: on 1. That a parking zone for busses or stages be and XX the same is heby established on the south side of Ash Street in the City of Sall between a point 25 feet west of the west line of Santa Fe Avenue\�@nd the east line of the alley which runs north and south between San Fe Avenue and Seventh Street, and that no vehicle shall be parked allowed to stand on the south side of Ash Street between Santa Fe venue and the alley above mentioned except busses and stages duly Commission for the purpose of ha ensed by the State kublic Service of Kansas, or interstate busses not busses or stages may stand or be parke passengers within the State uiring such license, which first above described; Provided, however, n that portion of Ash Street stages shall be permitted to park or stand w t no such busses or for a reasonable length of time, sufficient to n such space except passengers and baggage, in no event to exceed fift departure or after arrival of each buss or stage. charge and receive minutes before Section 2. That any or all permits heretofore granted to the owner of any taxi cab to use any ,,ortion of the street described in Section 1 of this ordinance as a taxi cab stand be and the same, is hereby revoked. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con - flirt with any of the provisions of this ordinance be and the same is hereby, insofar as they conflict with the provisions of this ordin- ance, repealed. Section 4. 'that any person who shall violate or shall cause, permit or dirTt the violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $25.00 for each offense. Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication in the official city paper. Attest: Chas. E. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions of this ordinance be and the same is hereby, insofar as they conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, repealed.
