AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of $1032.65 from the Uypsum
Hill Lot Owners Endowment Fund for the purchase of United
States iovernment Bonds in accordance with the provisions
^f Ordinance No. 3530.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina.
Section 1. That the sum of $1,032.65, be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the funds now in the amity Treasury
to the credit of the gypsum Hill Lot Owners "hdovment Fund,
which has been paid in accordance with the provisions of
Ordinance No. 3530 for the purpose of purchasing from Planters
State Bank, United States Government Four and a quarter per cent
Bonds of the par value of $1,032.65 with accrued interest thereon,
said bonds when purchased to be held by the �;ity Treasurer in
accordance with the provisions of said Ordinance No. 3530.
Section 2. That the I)irector of rIinance is hereby authorized
to issue a warrant for the amount mentioned in the foregoing sec-
ti^n, drawn upon the City Treasurer and countersigned by the City
Manager, for the purpose mentioned in the foregoing sections.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.-

the same is hereby appropriated out of the funds now in the

Endowment Fund.9 which has been paid in in accordance with
the provisions of Ordinance No. 3530 for the purpose of pur-
chasing from planters State Bank , United States
Government Four Vercent Bonds of the par value of $.. 1.032.65 _
with accrued interest thereon, said bonds when purchased
to be held by the City Treasurer in accordance with the
provisions of said Ordinance No. 3530.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant for the amount mentioned in the
foregoing section, drawn upon the City Treasurer and counter-
signed by the City Manager, for the purpose mentioned in the
foregoing sections.
Sectiou'3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
