3892 Appropriations78 ORDINANCE NO. 3892 AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. '-ghat the sum of $1,449.47 be and the same is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the pa;vment of 85� of Estimate Number 1, for materials furnished and labor performed in the con- struction of paving improvements on Santa Fe Avenue from Lincoln Avenue to Otis Avenue, under contract dated April 7, 1930. Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before , ninety days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of four and one-half per cent (42/) per annum.
