AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $3,269.44 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company for
the payment of Estimate Number 6, for materials furnished and
labor performed in the construction of Ash Street Sewer Repair,
prior to June 1, 1930, under contract dated December 9th, 1929.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City
Manager upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim
mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordi-ance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
